Sara Donoghue

Speech Pathologist

Sara is a highly experienced Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist, with over 20 years’ experience. She has worked both nationally and internationally, with 10-years’ experience as a Speech Pathologist in London, Scotland and Ireland. Sara has experience in not-for-profit organisations, private clinics, education settings (kindergartens, mainstream and special schools) and childcare settings.

Throughout Sara’s career, she has supported individuals of varying ages, from young children to teenagers and right through to older adults with a range of disabilities and differences. Sara has completed a post-graduate certificate in Sensory Integration through the University of Ulster and is also certified to carry out ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) assessments after completion of ADOS training with Latrobe University.

Sara is a non-executive director with ECIA Vic/Tas, who are at the forefront of promoting best-practice in early intervention in Victoria and Tasmania.

Sara primary interest is in the paediatric disability space. She has worked for a number of years in NDIS organisations and has a broad knowledge of the NDIS framework and related Australian legislation. She is passionate about nurturing children through a multidisciplinary, evidence and trauma-informed approach, and promoting positive and inclusive environments for all children, now and into the future.
