Dr Amit Singh

Dr Amit began his medical career in Delhi, India. After completed his Bachelors training (MBBS) in India, he worked at various prestigious hospitals in Delhi in the department of surgery. He decided to move to Australia in 2008 to gain more experience and completed his Australian Medical Graduate certificate in 2010. He has worked at various hospitals in Australia since 2008, including Western Health, Eastern Health, Echuca Regional Hospital and Seymour Hospital.

Dr Amit has completed several diplomas in his career, including the Diploma in Public Health from Deakin University in Melbourne. Dr Amit got his fellowship in General Practice FRACGP in 2019. He is recently doing a Diploma in Skin through Skin Cancer Council Victoria.

Dr Amit enjoys mental health, men’s health, sports medicine, chronic disease management, preventive medicine and his special interest is in DM, HTN, CKD, heart failure, PVD, Parkinson’s disease, falls prevention, and surgical procedures (including skin biopsy, incision and drainage, suturing wound, Implanon insertion and removal, Mirena removal, ingrown toe nail removal and HPV screening).

When he is not practicing, he loves watching and playing cricket and walking with his dog. He has twins, 5 years old. He is a very friendly and down-to-earth person.
